Our test equipment at a glance
Thread plug gauges (testing internal threads)
For checking nuts or internal threads. The limit plug gauge consists of:
- Good side: Must be able to be screwed completely into the thread. It checks the minimum dimension of the flank diameter and the pitch.
- Reject side (marked red): May be screwed in by a maximum of two turns. It checks whether the maximum flank dimension has been exceeded.
Thread ring gauges (testing external threads)
For checking bolts or screws.
- Thread ring gauge: Checks the maximum dimension of the external thread. It must slide smoothly over the entire thread length.
- Thread ring gauge: Must not be able to be screwed onto the thread (max. two turns permitted).
